Step inside and the room opens around you. A floor-to-ceiling landscape mural covers the full wall to the left — open rolling hills, long Vermont sky — and straight ahead, through the window above the dining table, the Worcester Range fills the view. The room is ringed by windows and feels genuinely open.
The living area centers on a low linen sofa; in the corner, an ornate milk glass lamp on a bronze base gives the room its evening quality. An antique organ sits near the back window. Behind a lattice screen divider, a king bed occupies its own corner, flanked by round antique nightstands. The kitchen is mid-century and makes no apology for it — white metal cabinets, green walls, porcelain sink. The bathroom carries the same vintage character: blush pink fixtures, sky blue tile.
Out the back, two Adirondack chairs and a fire pit sit at the edge of the terraced yard where it drops toward the field. The same sauna, the same Worcester Range view, the same stone patio with teak loungers. Boyer State Forest trails are within walking distance. Montpelier is twelve minutes away, and feels further.

Getting there
Berlin, Vermont
Boyer Estate is in Berlin, twelve minutes from Montpelier, with Sugarbush and Stowe each about forty minutes away. Boyer State Forest trails are within walking distance of the property.
The estate sits on a rural dirt road. In winter (December through March), expect snowpack and occasional icy patches — AWD or 4WD with snow tires or quality all-season tires is strongly recommended. During mud season (late March through early May), a portion of the road closes, but this doesn’t affect arrival from the interstate, which is how most guests come. Full routing details come in your pre-arrival message after booking.
